About Me

As a busy mum of four children, I have struggled with issues around weight loss, energy levels and self care. I often asked "where do I find the time for taking care of myself when I'm trying to take care of everyone else?"

Why Do I Do This?

I want to start by sharing with you why I do what I do.

Where I Was

I used to be the person in my family who took pictures while the others did things. I have loads of videos of my kids and husband doing great activities from zip lining to skiing, but I was always behind the camera. Why? Because I did not have the strength, energy or confidence to participate. I was full of self limiting beliefs and "a badly behaved stomach," as diagnosed by a London doctor, and didn't feel like I was able to be fully present and participate in my own life. I had put on 20 extra pounds and was often irritable and easily angered. I knew I didn't want to live that way anymore, but how to change? I didn't have the strength to do it by myself. It wasn't until my husband and I moved our family to Australia 5 years ago that I found a solution. I went to see a nutritionist and changed my diet and lifestyle. A lifetime of IBS disappeared and I found a new energy that renewed my mojo and enabled me to participate in my life!

My Journey

While I have lived in the UK for the past 20 years, I was born in Russia, then moved to Israel, but mostly grew up in America. After university, I worked in finance before getting my MBA from Columbia Business School in New York. After graduating, I moved to the UK where I worked as a Marketing Manager at Sainsbury's until the birth of my second child.

Fast forward 8 years and after two careers and four children, my energy levels were at an all time low, I was snappy and irritable with my husband and children, my IBS was rampant and though I was going through the motions of running a large family, I wasn't really present in my own life. It was at this point that my husband and I moved with our kids to Australia for two years. While there, I embarked on a journey beginning with diet and exercise, moving on to mindfulness and growth and culminating in health and energy like I never knew before - including the end of a lifetime of IBS!

I learned how to heal my body through diet and exercise, nourish my soul with a spiritual practice and walk with my head held high because I had faced my fears, taken responsibility for my actions and embraced new challenges.  I learned that transformation is achievable through self care with benefits extending to those we love and those around us.

Upon returning to the UK, my own health journey led me to study and then graduate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. While there, I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories; everything from Ayurveda, gluten-free, and Paleo, to raw, vegan, and macrobiotics, and everything in between.

Why I Do This

I truly believe that I was given a gift when I went to Australia. I had been quite unhappy for a few years and didn't know how to get out of my rut. By seeking help and making slow changes to start, I began a journey that led me to true fulfilment. Because of the life changing experience I had, I wanted to give back and share with other women in the same boat as me, how to make positive change.

I feel very passionately about our own ability to make big changes through diet, movement and self care. I retrained as a Health Coach to learn how to pass on my experiences and help other women become their best selves thereby getting their mojo back! Today, I go zip lining, hiking, skiing and diving with my family. While I still take pictures, I am an integral participant, no longer on the side lines. You can have this too!

With my  certification, training and experience, I want  to help you fulfil your dreams of being the best self you can be by reigniting your mojo to bring you new found energy, weight loss or whatever your personal health goals might be!

What makes me Different?

I believe we can be our best selves if we find balance in our lives, energy in our bodies and joy in the food we eat.

I believe I can motivate people to make the changes they need to become the people they want to be.

I believe that transformation doesn't always have to be so serious - having fun and laughing is a huge part of healing!

As a coach, I put the power to get your MOJO back into YOUR hands!
